"The start of my Transition"
Well guys I did it... I started this long journey to becoming natural. I began my transition with some two-strand twists. I love my hair... they're great. Getting ready for work or play takes less time, halleluah! I will post pictures soon. I plan on maintaining them for about 3 months then move on to a different protective style.

"First Beginnings"
Hey everyone!!
Well this is my first experience with the whole "natural" thing and I'm pretty excited :) but nervous at the same time. I think its going to be dope once I get over the idea of my hair being extremely short for a while. I am curious to see how my hair will turn out... What texture it will be... how long it will grow... How healthy and thick will it get... etc.. etc. One of my best friends is currently natural and I just love how her hair turned out and she has had many positive things to say about it so I decided to give a try... I mean what do I have to loose? I am going to start growing my relaxer out with two strand twists... Too afraid of the "BIG CHOP" right now but hopefully I will get the nerve soon. So cheers to the start of my transformation YAY!!!!
